1. Refund Policy Overview

  • All Kerala Esports Federation (AKEF) is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent refund process for membership fees paid through our platform. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds will be issued and the process for requesting a refund.

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

  • Refunds will be issued in the following cases:
  • 2.1Registration Rejected by AKEF Officials: If your registration is rejected by district or state federation officials after payment, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • 2.2Duplicate Payment: If you accidentally make duplicate payments for the same registration, the duplicate amount will be refunded.
  • 2.3Technical Error: If a payment was processed due to a technical error on our platform, resulting in unintended charges.
  • 2.4Payment Failure with Amount Deducted: If payment fails but the amount is deducted from your account, we will investigate and process a refund if confirmed.

3. Non-Eligible Refund Scenarios

  • Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
  • 3.1Approved Memberships: Once your registration is approved and membership is activated, fees are non-refundable.
  • 3.2Change of Mind: Refunds are not provided if you change your mind after successful payment and approval.
  • 3.3Voluntary Termination: If you voluntarily terminate or delete your membership, fees are non-refundable.
  • 3.4Violation of Terms: If your membership is terminated due to violation of Terms and Conditions, no refund will be issued.
  • 3.5Expired Membership: Refunds are not available for expired membership periods.

4. Refund Request Process

  • To request a refund:
  • 4.1Send an email to mail@akef.in with the subject line "Refund Request".
  • 4.2Include the following information: Full Name, Registration ID, Email Address, Phone Number, Transaction ID/Payment Reference, Reason for refund request, Supporting documents (if applicable).
  • 4.3Our team will review your request within 7-10 business days.
  • 4.4You will receive a response via email regarding the status of your refund request.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

  • 5.1Approved refunds will be processed within 14-21 business days from the date of approval.
  • 5.2Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during registration.
  • 5.3Bank processing times may vary; please allow an additional 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
  • 5.4For UPI, debit/credit card, and net banking payments, refunds will be processed through Razorpay to your original payment source.

6. Payment Gateway Charges

  • 6.1Razorpay payment gateway charges are non-refundable.
  • 6.2Refund amounts may be subject to deduction of transaction fees as per Razorpay's refund policy.
  • 6.3AKEF will refund the maximum amount possible after accounting for non-refundable gateway fees.

7. Partial Refunds

  • 7.1In certain cases, AKEF may issue partial refunds at its discretion.
  • 7.2Partial refunds may be considered for extenuating circumstances reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • 7.3Administrative or processing fees may be deducted from partial refunds.
